What does 100 percent royalty mean in the Bestseller Package

Modified on Tue, 1 Jul at 4:44 AM

Overview

When we say “100% royalty” under the Bestseller Package, it means that 100% of the profit earned from the sale of your book is passed on to you, the author. This reflects our commitment to supporting independent writers by ensuring they receive the full share of profits after essential costs are deducted.

What Does It Not Mean?

“100% royalty” does not mean you receive the entire listed price of your book (for example, ₹150). Instead, the royalty is calculated after deducting the following necessary expenses:

  • Printing and production costs

  • Platform commissions and discounts

  • Packaging and handling fees

  • GST and transaction charges

  • Distribution and return expenses

Example

If your book is listed at ₹150:

  • Costs (as listed above) are first subtracted.

  • Whatever amount remains is your royalty, and you receive 100% of that profit.
