Can I use a pen name or pseudonym for the writing challenge and book publication?

Modified on Tue, 1 Jul at 4:09 AM

Overview

Yes, absolutely! You are welcome to use a pen name or pseudonym when participating in the 21-Day Writing Challenge. This applies to every step of the publishing process.

Where You Can Use a Pen Name

You can use your chosen pen name:

  • While registering for the challenge

  • When submitting your poems

  • On your book’s cover, spine, and interior

  • In your author bio and book description

  • Anywhere your name appears publicly in connection with the book

Things to Keep in Mind

  • You must still provide your legal name and contact details for internal use—this is required for royalty payments, contracts, and communication.

  • Your pen name will appear exactly as submitted, so double-check for spelling and capitalization.

  • Using a pseudonym does not affect your ownership or royalty rights—you retain 100% ownership of your work.
